LineaesseGroup’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

Development must be sustainable, otherwise it is not Development. This is why we completely agree with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda, an action programme promoted by the United Nations that includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030. Our actions have always been aimed at making our development and that of the community more economically, socially and environmentally sustainable. Today, more than ever, we are committed to achieving these common goals on which the future of our planet depends.
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but the necessary condition for a prosperous and peaceful world. We are certain of it: 53% of human resources in our company are women.
We use the best technology available for fabrics treatments and finishings to minimise the quantity of water used and optimise consumption. We are committed to the ZDHC path, which also includes the proper management of wastewater from production processes.
We contribute to combating climate change by using economical, reliable, sustainable and modern energy systems. Our production plant uses 100% green energy from renewable sources
The Code of Ethics and Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy, embracing our people and the whole district to be inclusive and safe.
Our fabrics are certified according to the highest international standards for the production of textile products and, specifically, we are the only company able to offer articles with OCS certified transfer coating.
The principles of sustainability and environmental protection are integrated right from the study and design phase of the collection by researching and using raw materials that come from natural or recycled sources.
The NATURE by LDS series is made with bio-polymers from vegetable processing waste. The use of these renewable raw materials improves the life cycle impact of the product, which is considered Carbon Neutral. Furthermore, when the biodegradable raw material is present in a significant percentage, it leads to better end-of-life of the product. Consequently, the use of these raw materials from renewable sources helps to reduce the carbon footprint and the production of greenhouse gases during the production process.
We cooperate with internationally recognised Organisations and Institutions to achieve common sustainable development goals.
It is the world’s largest programme for the sustainability of cotton production, aimed at reducing environmental stress and promoting the well-being of farming communities.
We are committed to tracking production and reducing its environmental and social impact through the 4sustainability®independent system.
CEA is an accredited body for the certification of textile products with high environmental added value.
